Simple, reliable, proven wood pellet central heating systems

The Bio-Comfort Scotte wood pellet burner is designed and manufactured in Denmark. They work virtually like an oil burner – only more efficiently! It switches on automatically from a standard timer, feeds itself fuel, electronically ignites, fires up and heats your home. The system will regulate itself and produce hot water and central heating as and when required.

With uncertain oil prices and climbing energy costs, changing to wood pellet heating can offer significant savings. Wood pellets are now readily available, with major manufacturers within Scotland and other parts of the UK.

Easy & User Friendly Controls

The boilers and burners have a compact design and come in a red finish. A digital display control box shows exactly what stage the burner is running in. With simple up or down keys, all adjustments can be made effortlessly.

Practical & Safe Operation

The Bio-Comfort wood pellet heating system can work in practically all installations, either underfloor heating or with radiators. They can be run in pressurised and vented circuits as well as accumulator tank systems. The burners have been tested in a Danish technological institute and have been approved for use in 28 European Union countries to standard DS/EN 303.5. This approval is your guarantee of safety and quality. Over 10,000 of these burners have been sold across Europe, with ever increasing sales due to their reputation, design, safety features and excellent price.

Maintenance, Cleaning & Warranty

Due to the efficiency of the system, only an annual service to clean the flue is required.

Warranty – 2 years (excluding replaceable parts)

The Scotte burner has an inbuilt cleaning fan which blows the burnt ash off the burner head and into the ash pan, at adjustable intervals. The cleaning intervals are adjusted to suit the particular quality of pellet fuel used. Good quality pellets are recommended as they burn leaving only a light weight ash.

The clean burning process should not produce smoke within the boiler or from the chimney. Therefore, the boiler heat exchanger may only need a quick clean every 1-2 months, which takes only 10 minutes and can be done easily by the householder. The ash pan should be emptied once per month during winter and as little as once every three months during summer. The ash produced by the burning process is an ideal fertilizer, suitable for garden and plant growth requirements.

OUTPUT RANGE

The Bio-Comfort Scotte range can easily heat properties from small cottages to large houses.

16kw, 24kw, 30kw, 40kw and 50kw versions are available.

Environmental Benefit

Using wood pellets reduces the harmful CO² emissions by over 90% and produces virtually no acid rain.

CO² emissions with oil: 9400 kilos / year

CO² emissions with wood: 175 kilos / year

SAVING = 9225 KILOS / YEAR

The Bio-Comfort Scotte is an advanced yet simple technology that regulates precise burning of wood pellet fuel to heat your hot water and central heating system. They have proven to be reliable for many years and are widely used across Europe. For the more technical customers, the control box can also communicate with your own home computer where all adjustments can be made and efficiency information viewed.
